Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host the “Sea to Sky” winter kickoff on Tuesday, January 7 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Attendees will be able to build their own trifle. Sam Crowley, local sea kayak instructor will give a presentation on his 2013 adventures sea kayaking in Gweii Hanass, a group of islands in northern British Columbia. He will also share his hiking and backpacking experiences at Glacier National Park in Montana.
This event is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Friday, January 3 by calling 227-2979.
