Marquette Orchestra Students ROCK Kaufman Auditorium October 17, 2013

Marquette, Michigan – On Oct. 17, the Marquette orchestra students will get to ROCK Kaufman Auditorium. They will have an afternoon workshop with world-renowned artist, Mark Wood, and will present a concert at 7 pm. They will play music from the Beatles, Police, Ozzy Osbourne and others. They will even have a drawing for a 5-string Viper electric violin. Mark Wood has helped orchestras all over the world learn self-confidence and many other employability skills from his “Electrify Your Strings” program. Tickets are available at the door: Adults $5, Students $3, Family $12. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10.
