It’s been two months since Lundin Mining acquired Eagle Mine. We’ve made good on our promise to create jobs and ramp up construction. Today, around 400 people are part of a team building Eagle and shaping the future of U.P. mining.
The pace of development at Eagle is striking with new construction at both the Eagle Mine and the Humboldt Mill. A lot more work will get done throughout the winter as we get ready for production in late 2014. We’re excited about what is being achieved, but it’s only possible with the dedication and commitment of local skilled trades and contractors.

Media Release: Lundin Mining recently issued an update on construction at Eagle, which mentions that a a group of investors/analysts will tour the mine and mill on September 26th.
We’re very pleased to have these people here to see Marquette County and our project. This type of visit puts an international spotlight on Eagle, which is an exceptional project.
