Marquette – A panel discussion on the new health care reform changes will be held on Monday, September 23 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Representatives specializing in health care insurance, tax issues and law will answer your questions on how to steer your way through the Affordable Care Act. Starting October 1, 2013, the Health Insurance Marketplace will open for selecting insurance plans and in 2014 every individual will be required to have health insurance coverage or pay a penalty.
The panel discussion will be geared towards how to choose plans for individuals and families and for small business owners. Medicare and Medicare prescription plans will not be covered at this event.
