Marquette – In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, a four week book study will begin on Tuesday, May 7 at 4 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Discussion leader Lucy Wilcox, Clinical Practices Coordinator at NorthCare/Pathways, will host the book group focusing on “Are Your Prescriptions Killing You?: How to Prevent Dangerous Interactions, Avoid Deadly Side Effects, and Be Healthier with Fewer Drugs” by Armon B. Neel Jr., PharmD and Bill Hogan.
The study group will meet for four consecutive Tuesdays from May 7 through May 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. Participants should read the first chapter before the May 7 meeting. No registration is required.
This book study is part of Your Mind Matters, an ongoing community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of local community health organizations, advocacy groups, individuals and the Peter White Public Library.
