Marquette – Summer Cinema will offer a screening of “Rise of the Guardians” on Wednesday, August 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This animated fantasy film based on William Joyce’s “The Guardians of Childhood” book series features the characters of Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Sandman and Easter Bunny with the plot revolving around an evil spirit known as Pitch, who lays down the gauntlet to take over the world. The immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the
world.
The film is rated PG and runs for 97 minutes. Summer Cinema invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.
