Summer Cinema Screening of “Trouble With the Curve” on Tuesday, August 20

(Marquette, Michigan) — Summer Cinema presents a screening of “Trouble With the Curve” on Tuesday, August 20 at 5:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

The film stars 4 time Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood as Gus Lobel, one of the best scouts in baseball for decades, who, despite his efforts to hide it, finds that age is starting to catch up with him. The one person who might be able to help is also the one person Gus would never ask: his daughter, Mickey, played by 4 time Oscar nominee Amy Adams. An associate at a high-powered Atlanta law firm whose drive and ambition has put her on the fast track to becoming partner, Mickey joins Gus, against her better judgment, on his latest scouting trip to North Carolina, jeopardizing her own career to save his.

“Trouble with the Curve” co-stars Justin Timberlake, was released in 2012, is rated PG-13 and runs for 111 minutes.

Summer Cinema invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.

There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
