MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will hold a graduation for 23 police recruits on Tuesday, Aug. 20. A ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. in the commons area of the Jacobetti Complex.
The recruits are from throughout Michigan. They have completed a 16-week basic course that includes 800 hours of training required by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).
