Marquette, MI – Shakespeare Readers will meet on Wednesday, November 5 at 6:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library’s Shiras Room for a reading of “Henry VI” by William Shakespeare.
“Henry VI” is a history play, written in three parts, that deals with the loss of England’s French territories and the political machinations leading up to the Wars of the Roses, as the English political system is torn apart by personal squabbles and petty jealousy.
Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
