Marquette – Bonnie Jo Campbell, award-winning author and one of today’s most compelling voices in fiction, will lead local writers in an interactive workshop “Writing From Your Life” on Thursday, August 8 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Campbell will help writers feel confident in using their own experiences as inspiration for their work in memoir, fiction, poetry or any other genre. Participants will be expected to share their writings and thoughts with each other in this highly interactive program.
There is no admission charge to attend the workshop, but class size is limited to 20 participants and registration is required. Call the library at 226-4318 to sign up.
