Curtis – Author Bill Jamerson will present a musical tribute “Dollar a Day Boys!” about the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) on Monday, July 15 at 7 p.m. at the Erickson Center in Curtis.
The Civilian Conservation Corps was a federal works program created by President Franklin Roosevelt in the heart of The Great Depression. Former members of the CCC are invited to attend and share any photos and other memorabilia they might have.
Admission at the door is $5 for adults. Children will be admitted free. This program is being sponsored by the Erickson Center for the Arts and the Seney National Wildlife Refuge.
