Marquette – The Pine Mountain Music Festival will present its annual cabaret-style show “New York and Paris in Revue!”, a fast-paced romp through those two great cities, on Thursday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Upfront and Company in Marquette.
Featured will be the music of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Edith Piaf, Rodgers and Hart, Leonard Bernstein and a host of other composers and songwriters. The revue is directed by Jerry DePuit, now in his eighth season with Pine Mountain Music Festival, and will feature the festival’s six resident opera artists, the young, professional opera singers who will also perform in the premiere of the new opera “Rockland” in mid-July.
Tickets cost $20 for adults, $10 for students and children, and are available at the Lake Superior Community Partnership and at the door. For more information, visit www.pmmf.org
