
Historian Gary Kaunonen will speak at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee on his recent book, “Community in Conflict: A Working-class History of the 1913-14 Michigan Copper Strike and the Italian Hall Tragedy.” Kaunonen’s presentation kicks off the museum’s Tuesday Afternoon Program Series, which highlight topics on Upper Peninsula history. “Community in Conflict” will be available for sale, and a book signing will follow the program.
