Emmy Award winning story-educator, Bobby Norfolk highlights the joy of reading on Monday, June 17 at 2:00 pm in the Peter White Public
Library community room.

Experience exciting, fun stories out of books from Norfolk’s own
library. He makes characters jump off the pages, for a unique literary experience. Enjoy stories like Anansi & the Moss-Covered Rock, Why Mosquitos Buzz in People’s Ears and There’s NO Such Thing as a DRAGON. Perfect for ages 5 & up, Norfolk’s well told tales set children’s imaginations on fire so they get excited about reading, and encourages young minds to wonder and imagine through books.
Bobby Norfolk’s innate ability to read and connect with audiences of
all ages makes him one of America’s premier storytellers. Using
dynamic movement and vocal effects, Norfolk creates vibrant haracters
who come to life through imaginative, creative story, living history
programs that promote character education traits, cultural diversity,
and literacy.
Norfolk is a 3 time Emmy award winner for his work as TV host of
“Gator Tales”. He has recorded numerous CD’s, many winning the
prestigious Parents Choice Gold Award. He is also the co-author of 8
children’s books and active in national storytelling and literacy
