Join the DNR Fisheries Division in Escanaba March 20 for ‘Conversations and Coffee’

ESCANABA, MICHIGAN – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ Northern Lake Michigan Management Unit in Fisheries Division has announced a public forum in Escanaba to discuss local fisheries management activities and concerns.

The forum will be held Thursday, March 20, from 7-9 p.m. (EDT) at the DNR Pocket Park (U.P. State Fairgrounds), located at 2401 12th Ave. North.

“Conversations & Coffee with DNR Fisheries Division” will take place in each of the eight management units that oversee Michigan’s fisheries. The purpose of these forums is to provide residents with the opportunity to meet local staff, discuss local issues and management activities, and get specific questions answered.

These informal forums will also make information available on local and statewide regulations affecting anglers.
