Season which includes productions of Beacon on the Rock directed by
Denise Clark and Shelley Russell, Pirates of Penzance directed by Jeff Spencer and musical direction by Rob Engelhart, and Superior Broadway, directed by Denise Clark.
The casting calls for both male and female roles from ages 5 to 105.
Audition times are as follows:
- Wednesday, May 15th Panowski Black Box (NMU Campus) 6– 8 pm
- Friday, May 17th Panowski Black Box (NMU Campus) 4 – 6pm
- Callbacks will occur immediately after auditions on Friday May 17th at 6 p.m.
Auditions will take place at the James A. Panowski Black Box Theatre
in McClintock 105 on the campus of Northern Michigan University
(Across from the Baptist Church on Fair St.) in Marquette, MI. A
pianist will be available at the auditions. Those auditioning are
asked to sing a 90 second song cutting and an optional monologue.
Scenes will also be available for cold readings.

Performances for Beacon on the Rock are July 5-7 and July 10-14.
Performances for Pirates of Penzance are July 17-21 and July 24-July
28. Performances for Superior Broadway are August 14-16.
Recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts, Lake Superior
Theater is a nonprofit, semi-professional theater, celebrating
regional history and culture. Lake Superior Theatre’s 2013 season
will also include the Lake Superior Youth Theatre production of Honk
Jr. directed by Moire Embley. Auditions for Honk Jr. are May 20-21st
at Graveraet School for ages preschool-12th grade. Performances for
Honk Jr. are Cast 1 August 1-4 and Cast 2 August 7-10 . Log on to
