Laurie Short Receives NMU Scholarship

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Laurie Short of Marquette is the recipient of the Makela, Toutant, Hill and Nardi, P.C., Accounting Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 year.

To be eligible for the scholarship students must be accounting majors who exemplify leadership and citizenship qualities. Individuals must also be involved in extra-curricular activities and in their last two semesters prior to receiving their baccalaureate degree.

The Makela, Toutant, Hill and Nardi, P.C., Accounting Scholarship was established in 1988 by annual gifts from the accounting firm of Makela, Toutant and Hill.
