Marquette – Ray Wickenheiser, forensic scientist and laboratory director of the Montgomery County Police Crime Laboratory in Maryland, will offer a presentation about his profession on Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich 103 at NMU.
Wickenheiser will explore CSI on TV versus real life, the strengths and limitations of DNA tests, forensic science developments over the past 30 years and the future role of science in crime-scene investigations.
This event is free, open to the public, and sponsored by NMU’s departments of biology, chemistry and criminal justice, along with the student Forensic Biochemistry Club.
