Marqwuette – Students and staff at Marquette Alternative High School invite the community to a screening of “One Day on Earth” on Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
The event is an effort to raise money for Action Against Hunger. The charity, chosen by the students, reaches the most vulnerable and neglected populations through programs in nutrition, water, sanitation, food security, and basic healthcare.
The film “One Day on Earth” highlights the amazing
diversity, but also the underlying similarities, of all cultures. A suggested donation of $3 is appreciated.
