Negaunee – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a program about humorous happenings in the early days of Ishpeming and Negaunee on Wednesday, May 22 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center, 410 Jackson Street in Negaunee.
Robert Dobson, a researcher, author and NCLL board member, will give the presentation. In his monologue Dobson will share funny stories about people and animals that were featured in the newspapers in Ishpeming and Negaunee from 1873 to 1930.
The event is free and open to the public. Register by Monday, May 20, by calling 227-2979.
