Film, “Pink Smoke over the Vatican” on Monday, March 18 at Peter White Public Library

Marquette, Michigan – Citizens for Peace and Justice are sponsoring a showing of the film, “Pink Smoke over the Vatican” on Monday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Peter white Public Library Community Room. This documentary film explores the issue of woman’s ordination in the Roman Catholic Church. The film, which has won several awards, shows the struggle of women to live their faith and conscience in spite of facing excommunication by defying the Vatican’s ban on women’s ordination. It is a testimony to the courage of men and women who place conscience above authority and who challenge the world by living their truth. Free admission.
