Escanaba – The U.P. State Fair “Fun Pet Show” will take place on Sunday, August 17 at the fairgrounds, in the big white tent just past the State Police office and the grandstand.
Entry fee for this event is $2 per class; pre-registration is not necessary. The annual event is sponsored by the Delta Area Animal Society. All proceeds benefit the spay-neuter fund.
Proof of RV vaccine is required for dogs and highly recommended for cats. Animals must be under control, either on a leash or in a kennel. Puppies and kittens under 6 months of age are not permitted in this event.
Registration for cats begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the show at 10.
Dog registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the show at 11.
Stuffed animal registration is set for 11:30 followed by this show at noon.
