The Gift of Life University Challenge Organ, Tissue and Eye Donor Registry, Northern Michigan University's Volunteer Center and Students for Organ Donation are participating in the third annual Gift of Life University Challenge, which encourages people to register for the Organ Donor Registry. Registration will begin for NMU on Tuesday, January 31, at 7 p.m. with a presentation in Jamrich Hall, Room 105 on organ donation, donating blood, and a personal account from a transplant recipient. There will also be informational tables at the following locations with the opportunity to register: Learning Resources Center on Wednesday, February 1 from 10a.m.to 3p.m., Westwood Mall on Saturday, February 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., NMU Hedgcock on Monday, February 6 from 10a.m. to 3 p.m., NMU Jamrich on Tuesday, February 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and NMU University Center on Thursday, February 9 from Noon to 5 p.m. Supporters can also go to the link below, and sign up to become an organ and tissue donor. httpwww.giftoflifemichigan.orgRegistryCard.asp?school0 Choose Northern Michigan University name from the drop-down menu under “University Challenge”.
