Michigan July More Bad than Good on the Jobless Front

Northern Initiatives Press Releases:

News for the month of July was more bad than good on the jobless front. The 46 Michigan counties in our service area mostly saw jobless rates rise. That was true in 38 counties. Only 6 counties saw a reduction in the jobless rate with two counties remaining the same. I am interested in your takes as to why the jobless rate went higher in so many places. If you have thoughts please share them.

For Northern Initiatives it has been a good seven months. We are on a pace to have a record year in loan volume. Stay tuned.
