Houghton – A workshop on “How to Work Together Even When We Disagree” will be offered on Wednesday, July 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BHK Houghton, 700 Park Avenue, Houghton.
Wanda Jones of Michigan Special Education Mediation Programs will lead the workshop for parents and professionals who have or work with children enrolled in Special Education. The workshop will help you identify what makes a quality Individualized Education Program (IEP) and help parents and school administrators to better partner as a team. It will focus on ways to improve communication while focusing on the needs and best interests of the student.
