Marquette – The public is invited to “Marquette to Buddhism: The Journey of Ben Bennet” on Tuesday, August 9 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The presentation will be given by former Marquette resident and Graveraet High School graduate, Ben Bennett and follows his life’s journey from Marquette, Michigan to becoming a Buddhist monk who lives in upstate New York. Ben will discuss the basic tenets of Buddhism and why he decided to devote his life to the practice.
A meet and greet reception will follow the presentation. There is no admission charge. For more
