Calendar – Education – “Heroes and Villians” Cemetery Walk – Aug. 12

Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will present the “Heroes and Villains” on Tuesday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the main gate of Park Cemetery in Marquette.

It doesn’t matter if they were a hero or villain because they all ended up in the same place, the cemetery. Tour guides will tell stories of daring rescues at sea, gunned down policemen and conservation officers, brave doctors, bank robbers, bootleggers, hardened criminals and other characters in Marquette’s colorful history.

A $5 suggested donation will be asked. For more information, visit www.marquettehistory.org or call 226-3571.
