Marquette – A Health Care Career Exploring Program will begin on Wednesday, December 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. just inside the door of at U.P. Health Systems Hospital, entering from the 3rd level of the parking garage on West College Avenue in Marquette.
The program is for anyone in high school or age 14 through 20. It will give students a hands-on environment in which to learn about various careers at the Marquette Hospital and area medical businesses. Meetings will be held once per month on a new topic in the health care field. The first topic is Medical Imaging as a career and that includes Radiology, X-Ray and CT scans.
Students interested are encouraged to join on the 13th and bring a parent or guardian, if under 18. There is a $20 registration fee which covers meetings through the rest of the school year.
