Marquette – Award winning author of adventurous, historical fiction novels, William Durbin, will offer a book talk and signing, for readers in grade 3 through adult, on Thursday, April 11 at 4:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
In the evening at 7 p.m., Durbin will lead a writing workshop for writers in the Arts Center workshop #3 on the lower level of the library. The 90 minute workshop is geared toward middle school through adult writers.
Durbin’s writings tell the stories of homesteaders, fur traders, lumberjacks and other keepers of the great north. A book sale and signing opportunity will follow each presentation.
