Marquette – Summer Cinema will offer a screening of “Hugo” on Wednesday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The film is set in 1930’s Paris, where Hugo, an orphaned boy, secretly lives in the walls of the busy train station and looks after the clocks. Hugo’s adventures begin when he finds an automaton and attempts to repair and unravel the mystery of this mechanical man.
The 2011 film is based on the novel by Caldecott Medal winning book by Brian Selznick, is rated PG and runs for 127 minutes.
Summer Cinema features delicious library café specials by Tu Kaluthia available for purchase and recently released feature films in a dinner theater setting.
