Marquette – Families are invited to a sensory-friendly screening of “Mary Poppins” on Saturday, January 7 from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Sensory-friendly means the sound is at a moderate volume, the lights are on at a low level, and restlessness is expected from the audience. Close-caption will be on for readers. Popcorn will be served.
The event is being sponsored by the Marquette Area Autism Spectrum Disorders Support Group and there is no charge, thanks to the Friends of the Peter White Public Library.
