Harvey – AMCAB will host the Grand Opening of a new meal site for Senior Meals on Wednesday, May 11 beginning with a gathering at 11:30 a.m. followed by a meal at noon at the Chocolay Township Hall in Harvey.
This new meal site will offer a nutritious lunch every Wednesday for seniors and guests. Seniors can gather together for a healthy balanced meal at a reasonable cost donation, while enjoying the camaraderie of friends and neighbors, and special events.
The meal will be Turkey Noodle Casserole with green beans, stewed tomatoes, fruit salad, bread and butter, milk, and cake. The cost for the meal is a suggested donation of $3 for seniors over the age of 60 and their spouse. All others will be charged $6.
