L’Anse – UPCAP’s Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program will offer a free “Welcome to Medicare” seminar on Wednesday, September 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church Galley, 16 South 6th Street in L’Anse.
The seminar is targeted towards folks that will be eligible for Medicare sometime within the next six months. Learn the basics of Medicare, Medicare choices, and programs that may be available to help pay out-of-pocket Medicare costs.
There is no charge to attend this informational event and a helpful workbook will be provided to each participant. Registration is required by calling 1-800-803-7174, or by simply dialing 2-1-1 and indicating your wish to register for the “Welcome to Medicare” event in L’Anse on September 28.
