Marquette – UPCAP’s Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) will offer a free seminar to help folks new to Medicare understand their benefits and choices on Tuesday, April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lakeview Arena Citizen’s Forum Room, 401 E. Fair Avenue, Marquette.
The seminar is targeted towards new retirees that will be eligible for Medicare sometime within the next six months. It will explain the basics of Medicare, and discuss what folks should be thinking about when making decisions on their Medicare choices. There will also be information about programs that may be available to help pay out-of-pocket Medicare costs.
There is no charge to attend this informational event and a helpful workbook will be provided to each participant. Registration is required by calling 1-800-803-7174, or by dialing 2-1-1.
