Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a class on the U.P. Land Conservancy and conservation easements on Tuesday, September 28 at 9 a.m. in Cohodas Hall room 416 at NMU.
Following a brief slide show presentation, participants will car pool to the Ford Eagle Preserve in southwestern Marquette County, where they will learn firsthand what conservation easements are and what they do.
Participants will be able to hike around the natural preserve. Cost is $4 for NCLL members, $7 for others. Register by Friday, September 24 by calling Jim Matteson at 228-4165.
