Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will offer a Youth Money Management program on
Thursday, March 23 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the History Center, 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette.
This daytime program is perfect for home school families. Teaching young people to plan for their future and to learn about philanthropy is how we ensure our legacy as a community. This program helps parents learn how to talk to their kids about influences and choices about money, as well as responsible money habits.
Presented by Thrivent Financial, the “Piggy Bank” program for ages 6 to 11 is at 10 a.m., and “Cash Cache” for ages 11 to 16 is at 11 a.m.
To participate there is a suggested donation of $2 for students and $5 for adults, which includes a visit to the museum galleries. Call the History Center at 226-3571 to sign up ahead of time.
