Marquette – The Marquette County History Museum will present Maritime Memories on Wednesday, August 4 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Cemetery Main Gate in Marquette.
Enjoy a stroll through Park Cemetery with Librarian Rosemary Michelin and guides to hear the fascinating stories of ship captains, lighthouse keepers, dock builders, fishermen and other area resident who were affected by the many moods of Lake Superior. Listen to a sailor’s ballad or two.
A $5 suggested donation is being asked to benefit the Marquette County History Museum.
