Marquette – An Information Forum on Newborn Screening and the Michigan BioTrust for Health will be held on Tuesday, August 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in PEIF Room 241 at Northern Michigan University.
This is a free presentation by staff from the Michigan Department of Community Health for the public to learn about Michigan’s Newborn Screening Program and the BioTrust for Health. Learn why babies are screened and about the use of blood spots for research. If you or your child were born since 1984, you can also learn how to opt out if you do not want your baby’s or your own leftover blood spot sample used by the BioTrust.
