Marquette – The Your Mind Matters Lunch and Learn Series will present “Children and Trauma” on Wednesday, May 13 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Presenters Kerrie Arwine, LLMSW and Ashley Jenema, LMSW will focus on trauma and its impact on children and adolescents. Topics covered are exploring what trauma is, how it typically impacts children and adolescents, how to identify when a child may have experienced a traumatic event and the behaviors that a parent, community caregiver
or school personnel may see as a result of trauma.
