Marquette – A public book discussion of “Dreams of Trespass: Tales of a Harem Girlhood” by Fatima Mernissi will be held on Wednesday, March 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Mernissi is a Moroccan sociologist, writer and lecturer at Mohammed V University. “Dreams of Trespass” is a graceful and humorous coming-of-age memoir depicting traditional life in a harem in 1940s Fez.
