New Rosewood Walkway Installation Celebrates Art Week Theme: GROW!

Rosewood Walkway in Downtown Marquette

Marquette, MI – The latest addition to the Rosewood Walkway is here, perfectly aligning with this year’s Art Week theme of GROW! This beautiful installation features nine grapevine archways that line the path, inviting people to stroll through and enjoy the scenic beauty in Downtown Marquette. Complementing the archways are various flowers at the base and Morning Glory plants, which will grow alongside the grapevines.

Designed by local artist and florist Mary Anne Welch, this installation will transform throughout the season, embodying the theme of growth. We encourage the community to visit often to witness its evolution, symbolizing the continuous growth and flourishing of our community. The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) plans to maintain this installation in Rosewood Walkway throughout the summer, allowing both residents and tourists to appreciate its development.

This installation is brought to you by the Marquette Downtown Development Authority, with design by Mary Anne Welch and sponsorship by Acrisure. Come and experience the beauty and growth of our latest Rosewood Walkway Installation!
