Notice: Temporary Parking Lot Closures at Munising Falls and Grand Sable Visitor Centers

MUNISING, MI –

Visitors to Munising Falls and the Grand Sable Visitor Centers should be aware of upcoming parking lot closures. Starting at 5 pm on Sunday, June 23, both the Munising Falls Visitor Center and Grand Sable Visitor Center parking lots will be closed for repaving. The closures will remain in effect until Monday, July 1.

All vehicles must be removed from these parking lots by 5 pm on Sunday, June 23. Any vehicles left in the lots after this time will be towed.

During the repaving period, alternative parking for the Munising Falls Visitor Center is available at Munising Memorial Hospital and Sand Point. Please ensure you do not park in the grassy areas near the hospital and adhere to any additional parking restrictions set by Munising Memorial Hospital.

For those visiting the Grand Sable Visitor Center, alternative parking can be found along County Road H-58.

Despite the repaving work, both visitor centers will remain open, and access to Munising Falls will be maintained.

Please plan accordingly and utilize the designated alternative parking areas during this period. Visit their site to learn more, or stay updated with weather conditions as you plan your travel.
