Marquette Police Department requesting assistance identifying a vehicle or the driver involved in a Hit and Run on CR 553 near the Marquette Mountain on 03-05-20 at approximately 3:35 pm

The Marquette Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a vehicle or the driver involved in a Hit and Run Accident which occurred on CR 553 near the Marquette Mountain Ski Hill. The accident occurred on the curve just south of the ski hill on 03-05-20 at approximately 3:35 pm. The vehicles involved were a Marquette Police Car and a white sedan with at least two occupants. The suspect vehicle is possibly a mid 2000’s white 4DR Toyota Camry with damage to the front driver’s side bumper. The suspect vehicle hit the patrol car and continued northbound on McClellan Ave and was last seen near Pioneer Rd.
Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or anyone who witnessed the accident are urged to contact the Marquette Police Department at (906) 228-0400.
