Important Notice: Your first chance to provide input into the 2012 – 2017 Michigan Tourism Strategic Plan will be next week, Wednesday, June 27, in Hillman. Meetings will be taking place statewide this summer.
A new five-year strategic plan is currently being created by and for Michigan’s tourism industry, a process being led by the Michigan Travel Commission. As a part of that process, a series of industry stakeholder meetings will be held throughout the state this summer, to solicit input into the planning process. These meetings will be very interactive and will include discussion of the industry’s vision for its future development, as well as the goals, objectives and strategies needed to achieve that vision over the coming five years.
Please follow this link to register for the industry meeting most convenient for you. The first meeting is Wednesday, June 27, in Hillman in Northeast Michigan. All meetings will start at 1:00 pm and conclude at 5:30 pm, and refreshments will be served. Further details – including directions to the meeting and a set of materials it is recommended you peruse prior to the meeting – will be sent out to you once you complete the registration process.
