Michigan Iron Industry Museum – The Immigrant Experience in the Upper Peninsula

Negaunee, MI – Drop by the Michigan Iron Industry Museum for our weekly lecture series. You’ll discover the U.P.’s intriguing history, courtesy of experts who are eager to share their knowledge and research with you.

On July 24 at 2:00 P.M., Dan Truckey, director of Northern Michigan University’s Beaumier Heritage Center, will look at what life was like for immigrants who settled in the U.P. more than a century ago.

Admission is free of charge; donations are appreciated.

The Michigan Iron Industry Museum—part of the Michigan History Museum System—is located eight miles west of Marquette.
