Houghton – MTEC SmartZone will present Fulbright Scholar Dr. Jari Luomakoski with the topic, “Minimizing Start-Up Risk: The Finnish Experience” on Thursday, October 30 at 5 p.m. in the Powerhouse Building in Houghton.
The lecture, to enlighten current and prospective entrepreneurs and business owners, is sponsored by the Finnish American Chamber, MTEC SmartZone, and Finlandia University. Dr. Luomakoski will share his extensive experiences – both good and bad – with start-up ventures in the Finnish business world.
Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free.
