Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will host informational meetings on Tuesday, October 4 and Wednesday, October 5 at 5 p.m. in room 132 of the Jacobetti Complex. Individuals interested in attending the next academy are encouraged to attend one of the 45-minute sessions.
Each meeting will cover the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards requirements to enter the academy, NMU requirements to attend the academy, an overview of the format and topics covered, and a question-and-answer period.
The 2017 Regional Police Academy will begin in May and run through August. To sign up for one of the meetings, please call 227-1408.
