Marquette/Ishpeming/Big Bay – The Red Cross “Heroes” campaign is sponsoring a soup sale benefit featuring soups prepared by NMU culinary arts students.
Quart jars of cream of broccoli with cheddar, hearty chili, beef vegetable, creamy chicken vegetable and French onion are available for a donation of $10 per jar.
Soups may be ordered at First Presbyterian, Grace United Methodist and St. Paul's Episcopal churches in Marquette, Presbyterian Church of Big Bay, United Presbyterian Church in Ishpeming and the Red Cross office at 424 N. Third Street in Marquette.
Place phone orders at 228-3658. Ordering deadline is Wednesday, March 25. Soup pick up will be on Wednesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. at the order sites. Orders are tax deductible.
