“Iron Ore and the Civil War” will be presented on August 11 and 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum, 73 Forge Road in Negaunee. This is an encampment featuring military and civilian camp life, with costumed interpretors, cannon and small arms demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, Sarah Emma Edmonds, Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln portrayals, music by Homegrown Strings, speakers, children's games and activities.
