Calumet, Mich.– On Friday, April 6th at 7 pm the historic Calumet Theatre welcomes the outstanding musicians of the MTU Jazz Lab Band! Director, Mike Irish has put together a spectacular evening of music with great selections for the band and has added several well-known local jazz musicians to perform, as well.
The evening begins with the Jazz Band performing. Then after intermission, the guest artists will each perform one song with the Band. The concert closes with EVERYONE on “Route 66”.
An unforgettable evening featuring the MTU Jazz Lab Band with Steve Jones, Gail English, Mike Christianson, Dan Fuhrmann and Patrick Booth.
This is a FREE concert for all. A free will donation is appreciated with all donations going to the Calumet Theatre to help with expenses.
